Journey to West Sumatera

Travelling to West Sumatera - April 6, 2012

Together with friends, we took flight from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Minangkabau International Airport in Padang, early morning April 6, 2012.

Arrived Padang at 08:00 AM, we were rent a MPV for two days. We drove the MPV heading to Bukit Tinggi, stop by at Anai Waterfall to take some rest.

Leaving Anai Waterfall heading to Padang Panjang we again stop at Pesantren "Islamic School" about 30 minutes.

At Pesantren we took again some rest while got some meal from the Owner of the Pesantren.

We just arrived at Bukittinggi a few minutes befor Jumat Prayer. Even by a little missunderstanding finally we got two rooms at "The HILLS"" hotel for one night.

After getting breakfast at Hotel, we continued our journey to Harau Valley in Payakumbuh

From Payakumbuh we stop over at my Home Village Barulak for lunch. From Barulak we continued journey to Pagaruyung Palace at Batu Sangkar

Senior High School '86 Reunited at Sei Beringin Payakumbuh on 15-16 April 2011

After 25 years since 1986, we are separated by Location, Job and Duty. I was invited by my schoolmate to joint this session held at Rumah Gadang Sungai Beringin.
